The Holidays are Here!

I adore the holiday season! From Halloween all the way to January 1, I love being festive and celebratory. All month I’ve been busy decorating our home and getting ready for the rest of the year’s holidays. It was a little earlier than I usually decorate, but I honestly love having it all done by the time December 1 rolls around so I can spend the whole month enjoying it and spending more time relaxing, spending time with people I love, and writing of course!

The Future of Ebenezer & Marley

In case you haven’t heard, Amazon announced they are officially closing their Kindle Vella program. A couple of years ago when Vella was shiny and new, I had started my own Christmas Vella series called Ebenezer & Marley. It was a fun and cute story about Santa’s daughter Marley, and Krampus’ son Ebenezer. Then… it sat there. I always intended to finish it and put out new episodes for Christmas in July and again in November and December. But it never happened.

Now that Vella is closed, there will be no new episodes. Yes, I could have hurried and wrapped it up before the closure happened, but honestly, it wouldn’t have been good. I didn’t want to do that to you, my readers, or to myself. Anything I put out there I want it to be something I’m proud of.

Does that mean Ebenezer & Marley are done? Nope! In a way I’m relieved because I always wanted to go back and change some things about the episodes I’d already published. This will give me a new opportunity to clean things up and put together the fun, cute, and sexy holiday tale I originally dreamed of!

But now, I’d love your opinion! How would you like to see Ebenezer & Marley be revived?
